The people and faces you meet when working with us
Our team. Our family.
Neil Sinclair
Construction Lead & Project Management
Some of my fondest memories of growing up involve swinging a hammer and helping out my parents - both avid renovators - with projects around the house. As a military family we moved often, creating no shortage of exciting new opportunities.
It was then no surprise when I studied engineering and joined the Army as an Engineering Officer, a job which gave me 11 rewarding years of construction engineering and project management experience.
Lessons from my parents and military engineering have shaped my construction philosophy. Careful planning and a keen attention to even the smallest details, combined with quality design and materials, provide our clients spaces that effortlessly work for them and feel good to be in.
Amanda Klowak
Design Lead & Project Management
My background is in corporate marketing and events - project planning, creative design, and turning ideas on paper into something tangible. All skills that I’ve been able to put to good use in design and renovations. Which is great, because transforming the spaces we live in - effecting how we feel and how we spend our days - is what I love doing. I approach all projects with two fundamental principles.
The first is that homes are made for living and should allow for change, allow for mess, allow for life. The design of the space needs to have room for this and should help make life more manageable. At the end of the day, the rooms we design are only the backdrops to your life.
The second, is that spaces should make us feel. Feel connected. Feel grounded. Feel strong. Feel calm. Feel authentically you. Their purpose is to make you feel good. My job is to help you achieve that in your home. There are so many different ways we can achieve this in a space. One is keeping some of what was there - architecturally, or by breathing new life pieces that you have curated, knowingly or unknowingly.
Of course, these principles are hinged on good, timeless design.
Other than leading the design portions of the project, you can also find me onsite for refinishing projects, painting, tiling, flooring, and of course, on staging day.
